I am trying to remember a film I watched when I was a kid in the 80's, but can't remember the name ?

It was about a little boy who went on some kind of little train track
(through the wardrobe I think) down into a cartoon world?! It used to
be one of my favourite videos to hire but can't remember the name!??
Can anyone help?!
